I'M HERE I'M QUEER LET'S CHEER

Performing Solo Show: I'M STILL HERE @ Esperanza Peace & Justice Center, San Antonio
Oct 14 & 15, 2022 7P

Celebrate 40 years of fierce Queer Chicana Lesbiana Performance as I present my solo show I'M STILL HERE. I was going to perform this show March 2020 but the pandemic shut it down. I've waited 2 years and 7 months and I promise a joteria quinceañera good time!

Lakes Writer-in-Residence @ Smith College 2019

I was selected as the Lucille Geier Lakes Writer-in-Residence @ Smith College Spring 2019, sponsored by the Department of Spanish & Portuguese, and the Department of English. I was a badass and taught my fabulous creative writing/performance course Comedy Y Cultura: Your Humorous Life, I was part of the Smith College community, I collaborated with other Chicana/Latina artists and scholars and we empowered all of New England! I wore earmuffs the whole time because it was so damn cold!

Invite Me to Your Theatre, University, Cultural Center. I Can Also be Your Creative Coach

I can perform a solo show, teach you how to create a solo show, make class visits, teach a playwriting course, be your artist-in residence, help you with a script, flesh out a seed of an idea, demonstrate how to make guacamole--I'm the one you want.
