Stand Up Stand Out: The Making Of A Comedy Movement by director David Pavlosky. The story of the Valencia Rose Cabaret, San Francisco 1980s, the first queer comedy club in the nation. I am featured in this amazing movie.

The last time I was at the Esperanza Peace & Justice Center, Bill Clinton was president! Excited to return to the Esperanza with I'M STILL HERE, a comedic nostalgic look back at my childhood and teen years, the 1960s and 1970s. Decades of childhood innocence and teenage travesuras.

What an honor to be selected as part of the faculty for this year's Writers Retreat at Otis College of Art & Design in Los Angeles. I look forward to working with emerging LGBTQ playwrights. We will learn from each other!

​Lakes Writer-in-Residence @ Smith College 2019

I was selected as the Lucille Geier Lakes Writer-in-Residence @ Smith College Spring 2019, sponsored by the Department of Spanish & Portuguese, and the Department of English. I was a badass and taught my fabulous creative writing/performance course Comedy Y Cultura: Your Humorous Life, I was part of the Smith College community, I collaborated with other Chicana/Latina artists and scholars and we empowered all of New England! I wore earmuffs the whole time.
